Many articles, bloggers, and well, just plain ole' opinionated people have told us what Labor days means to them, but what I know to be true is simple.

1) We get this day off work WITH pay! 2) Someone fought for the right to get this day off (did I mention, WITH pay)! 3) God Bless America & it's workers who labor daily, whether they are tending a garden, selling hot dogs, or being an office manager for a small company.
Their hard work makes this day special. It makes it worthy. It makes it fair.
So as I sit with my children and spend an extra day with them on our long weekend, I give homage to those who fought for this day. A day of leisure, hot dogs, and iced tea. Thanks & May God Bless You ALL!!!
