We were snowed in....and so the forts began to build themselves... MY OH MY!

And so it snowed... and snowed... and snowed. And we were snowed in.

 

Everyone who truly knows me, knows that I am not the best driver out there (FYI). And I really, really hate driving in the pouring raining and snow. People drive crazy and too fast. I'm always afraid of getting plowed into by a driver not paying attention or I won't react in time. In saying that, I didn't dare leave my house.

 

And so, My six year old MISSED the Birthday Party!!! (gasps)

Though I felt extremely bad for not taking her, I rested my case on fact that I didn't drive in the bad weather for the greater good. She was upset, but told me, "I understand, momma." Though we stayed indoors, this day wasn't wasted!

On snow days the girls get very creative!!! And when tablets and movies lose their appeal, the forts spring up! This is one of many forts they built on this "Snow Day"!



To answer the question on "Did we find Hello Kitty?" YES!!! We found her! Though the purse wasn't bought, a super cute Hello Kitty t-shirt was the winning gift! We hope her friend likes it!
