Happy New Year... And the Snow goes on..and on...and on!!

First & Foremost, I would like to wish everyone a HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY New Year!!!

2013 was a blessing to me & my family. I got closer to my children (if there's such a thing) and definitely closer to my husband (I know there's such a thing). I bought a small, little used car (that I love). I found a new church that I absolutely adore. And my husband spoiled me with all the small materialistic things I longed for... (my Kindle Fire HD aka my 3rd BFF, a fire place - electric of course, & a new computer - I <3 Windows 8). Now I'm not in anyway bragging, I'm simply sharing my blessings with you all. 2013 had been very good to me.

Though I had many, many ups & downs, I know those trials were needed in order for me to see the greatness in life during that year  I'm wishing praying for greatness in the new year!!! 2014 I'm here and ready!!!

With saying that.... the SNOW is here as well!!! Chicago has been hit by a series of snow storms? since New Years Eve. And though Chicagoans are built for this, I must say it's been a major pain in the bottom!

 The temperature highs will be in the negative numbers tomorrow and that is SCARY!!! Will they cancel work? Will there be school for my girls? I guess we shall see in the morning!
