It's that time all over again....And I'm kinda freaking out! #Back2School

Summer has been a BLAST!

Being in the mid-west, weather was kind of tricky during those June months. This June, it was cold and wet. Seeming more like Spring or Fall, than Summer. For us, Summer didn't officially kick-off til July.

Camp began at the Chicago Park District on June 29th and the girls came home that week happier, browner, & more tired than they had been those following two weeks out of school. They quickly got on a Summer Schedule, and had been horrible in getting up in the mornings since. I, too, must confess, I'd been quite lazy in waking up in the mornings as well. With that extra light in the evenings, summer nights had been extended along with those wonderful summer days.

July had been filled with Barbies, Basketball, and my husband's favorite, Barbecue. And I must confess, I'd been having a ball doing nothing at all. Reading, Movies, and Sangria filled my summer evenings and I now feel the pressure on getting "Back on a Schedule".

I was talking to my hubby the other day, telling him, "You know the girls start school in less than 1 week from today?". And with that, my panic set in and I raced to a few of my "Go-To, Save-a-Mom, This Site Rocks" websites. Now these are not it in getting you ready, there are tons of amazing sites out there, however, these three have really helped me in this past week.

Thanks to "The Handmade Home", I now have my 2016 planner all ready printed and ready to use. (FYI it's amazing!!!)

Thanks to "Parenting" I now have bedtime routines for Big Kids, which is crucial when your 9 year old thinks she's a "pre-teen" and shouldn't have a bedtime.

Thanks to "New Bee Homeschooler", I now have Daily, Weekly, Monthly, & Misc Printables. This site was so organized to help me get organized. If you want an awesome Home Management Binder, this is definitely for you. 

Needless to say, the First Day of School went perfectly. 

The girls got out of bed at 6:15am. I was up at 5:25am. My coffee pot began brewing at 6:02am (Do not ask me how I pick these times... LOL. I just do). And we were out of the door by 7:10am, heading to school by 7:30am. 

And voilà! There was a parking spot waiting for me on the backside of the school. While the other parents double parked in the chaos that was the front of the school, haha, the girls and I parked in the back and walked around. It gave me time to snap a pic, say the first of my many 'Good Bye babies', and lipgloss my 4th grader who refuses to put chap stick on her lips!

The one thing I've learned over this summer is that, Time Flies. We HAVE to enjoy every moment. Every bump in the Road. Even the "DISASTERS" that were mini blessings in disguise. Take them in, Embrace them, our children are growing so FAST. I've blinked and they aren't babies anymore...
